Do I need to be fit before starting CrossFit?
No! All levels are welcome. Our coaches focus on technique, safety and building confidence from day one.
I’ve done CrossFit before—do I need On‑Ramp?
No. Experienced CrossFitters can sign up directly for classes and memberships.
Do you offer Nutrition Coaching?
Not at launch, but we plan to integrate a nutrition app (OptimizeMe) starting in January.
What makes Chalk Dog different?
We hold the standard in training, emphasize technique and progress over perfection and keep things approachable with a bit of humor. Plus, we host regular community events like BBQ nights, holiday WODs and adoption fundraisers.
Is there a membership contract?
We offer flexible memberships with and without long-term contracts. Choose what works best for you.
What’s a “No Sweat Intro”?
It’s a free consultation where you’ll meet with a coach, talk about your goals and learn how Chalk Dog can support you. From there, most new members start with our On‑Ramp program before joining classes.
Do you allow drop‑ins?
Yes. Whether you’re visiting town or just curious, we welcome drop‑ins.
Can I bring my kids or dog?
Yes—with some guidelines. Kids are welcome as long as they don’t disrupt classes and dogs are allowed case‑by‑case with safety rules in place.
What are the gym's opening hours?
Specific hours vary, but we’re generally open from early morning to late evening. Check our website for details.
What age groups do you cater to?
We offer programs for all ages. It is never too early or late to get strong!
